The Radio Boise/KRBX show is called “The Violent Sleep of Reason,” named after one of the best albums of last year (h/t Meshuggah). It airs terrestrially on Wednesday mornings from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m. Mountain Time in the U.S., and also airs live online here.

The show spotlights the best metal tracks released during the previous week, songs from highly anticipated upcoming albums, and cuts by bands with recent or upcoming shows in Boise. The show also highlights one Boise-area metal band each week, right around 2 a.m.

Ufomammut’s ‘Ecate’: Two Cent Review

That said, the Italian trio’s seventh album could be their catchiest yet—to the extent that 10-minute tracks wholly devoid of verse-chorus-verse structure could qualify as catchy.
