The Visionaries: Curran Reynolds Talks About Spreading Peace and Love in Dark Times With ‘Body Stuff 5’ LP in Rare Chat

“When I was young, I was broke and moving around a lot, discovered drugs and alcohol at an early age and went hard down that rabbit hole – but I’ve always had hope and inspiration,” musician/publicist/renaissance man Curran Reynolds opens up in a rare interview about his life.

“I’ve experienced some very dark times and some challenges for sure,” he continues. “But one thread that’s carried me through my whole life [is] knowing the joy of creation, working on projects and creating something out of nothing. That’s always been in me.”

Case in point is the second LP and fifth release overall by Reynolds’ heavily percussive, post-punk project, simply titled Body Stuff 5. The phrase “Body Stuff” “could [imply] gore. It could be sex. It’s pretty open ended,” Reynolds expounds. “It’s pretty universal. I wanted something that belongs to everyone. It’s a humble, simple name: Everyone has a body. ‘Stuff’ is the most basic generic word there is.”

Do yourself, your soul and your heart a favor by relishing this interview with a special human being who is self-actualized, at peace with himself and the world – and wants you to be too, as demonstrated on Body Stuff 5.

Oh yeah, and he talks about collaborating with ’80s pop sensation Tiffany too. If you think we’re kidding, that’s even more incentive to watch this genuinely heartfelt exchange with a man whose main purpose in life is to make the world a better place.
